One of the Bethesda hits was by Josh Harrison who was promptly beaned and knocked out of action for a week as a reward. Lenyn Sosa went deep for the winners.
Game #6: Ryan McKenna‘s dropped throw in the top of the 12th proved costly as it allowed Michael Chavis to scamper all the way around to 3rd base and then subsequently score on a fielders choice as Valdosta earned the split with a 4-3 win.
Summary: A split … ho-hum. Probably as good as these teams can hope for.

SBL Altuve again ties it in B1 with a 2-run HR and Muncy hits a solo-HR in the B2 for a 3-2 Lynx lead.

But I think the Cannons were just toying with the Lynx as they score 1 in the 4, 2 in the 5th and 3 in the
6th to put the game away.

Along the way FRE Hayes goes 3-5 w/4 rbi and a 2b and HR; Ohtani is 3-6 w/2 rbi and 2 2bs.

SBL K.Tucker’s hitting streak is snapped at 18 games.

Fremont 6, Southbend 0

Game #6: Another game dominated by FRE as they tally 2 runs in the T1, T5, T7, and T9 along with a lone run in the T3. Yes, FRE scored in every odd numbered inning.

FRE Ohtani started the scoring with a 2-run HR in the T1 and that would be all they would need.
FRE Correa goes 4-5 w/ 2 runs, 3 rbi with a HR; V.Guerrero goes 2-4 w/ rbi;m and Rojas goes 3-5 with 3 runs and a rbi and a 3b.

FRE Rodon tosses 6IP giving up a lone run while fanning 8; Voth and Tepera close out the game.

SBL lone run came off an Altuve 1b and K.Tucker rbi-2b

Fremont 9, Southbend 1
