Fremont  Cannons @ Coconut Creek  Crushers

Series Preview: FRE brings the Boom to CCC
Game #1: Snell and Alcantara in a pitching duel. Two solo HR’s for FRE are the difference as FRE wins 2-1.
Game #2: Rogers is strong for CCC. Unfortunately the bullpen gets blown up. A CCC 4-1 lead evaporates into an 8-6 loss.

Game #5: Ohtani finally goes hitless but he wins the game as the SP. CCC again lead late only to get the bullpen blown up. FRE adds a couple extra in the 9th to win 6-3. Only bad luck in this series for FRE happens in this game as Buxton goes down for 16 days.
Game #6: FRE plates 3 in the 1st off Snell for a quick lead. Snell then locks things down. CCC scratches back and the game goes to the 9th tied 3-3. Grade 19 Knebel is called on despite the tie just to post a zero and give CCC as chance to win the finale. Guerrero Jr had other plans as he hits a 3-run HR to win it for FRE 6-3.
Series Summary: CCC had a chance to win every game but couldn’t close any. FRE gets a big road sweep.

VS 2 TCP 3

W: Gausman (11-3)
L: Lester (6-10)
S: McGee (14)

Game #3: How not to score, chapter 9 by TCP. Alexander and Perez each walk 4 Patriot’s (they had 9 for the game). Add in 8 hits and somehow Triple Creek could only score 5 times. Thomas 3-5, Riley 2-5 (4 RBI), Sano 2-4 (3 RBI) paced the Snappers to their first series W.

L: Perez (6-7)
S: McGee (15)

Game #6: A barn-burner to end the series featuring 4 lead changes and a long injury to Acuna (22 days). After 8 full Valdosta led 6-5 but Triple Creek musters a walk-off thanks to Gurriel homer. Sano collected his 3rd HR of the series but Snappers come up just short.
