The Bottle Rockets drew first blood in the six-game set, squeaking past the Swamp Things 4-3 in a nail-biter. Isaac Paredes continued his power surge with a solo home run, his third in as many games, to put Tijuana on the board. Austin Wells provided the decisive blow, launching a two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh to break a 2-2 tie. Gainsville fought back with a run in the eighth, but Justin Lawrence slammed the door, earning the save by striking out the side in the ninth. Cole Sulser got the win in relief, while Zach Eflin took the loss despite a solid outing.

The Bottle Rockets rode a dominant performance from Luis Gil and a first-inning explosion to a 4-0 shutout of the Swamp Things. Gil was masterful, scattering three hits over six innings while striking out five. The offense staked him to an early lead when Junior Caminero cleared the bases with a triple in the bottom of the first. Ian Happ added a solo homer, and Agustin Ramirez went deep later in the game to provide the final margin. Zac Gallen took the loss for Gainsville, which managed just four hits on the night.

The Bottle Rockets secured their third consecutive victory, blanking the Swamp Things 4-0 behind a stellar start from Jake Latz. Latz allowed just three hits over six innings, striking out six. Isaac Paredes continued his torrid stretch, blasting his fourth home run in as many games. Junior Caminero drove in the game’s first run with a single, and the bullpen combination of Manuel Rodriguez and Brendon Little finished off the shutout. Parker Messick was the hard-luck loser for Gainsville, striking out nine over 6 2/3 innings but suffering from a lack of run support.

The Swamp Things finally broke through, snapping a five-game losing streak with a 3-2 victory over the Bottle Rockets. Seiya Suzuki provided the knockout punch, launching a three-run homer in the top of the third inning off Framber Valdez. The home run gave Gainsville a 3-0 lead, and the pitching staff made it stand up. Tyler Mahle earned his third win, tossing five innings of two-run ball. Matt Svanson nailed down his eighth save of the season, securing the tight one-run win and preventing the series sweep.

In a classic pitcher’s duel, Zac Gallen finally got his first win of the season, leading the Swamp Things to a 2-1 victory over the Bottle Rockets. Gallen was brilliant, allowing just one earned run on seven hits over 6 1/3 innings while striking out seven. Gainsville scored both of its runs in the top of the first on a Drake Baldwin single. The Bottle Rockets cut the lead to 2-1 in the third on a Junior Caminero RBI single but couldn’t muster any more offense against the Swamp Things’ bullpen. Matt Svanson picked up his ninth save, striking out the side in a tense ninth inning.

The Tijuana Bottle Rockets closed out the series in style, defeating the Gainsville Swamp Things 4-1 to take the six-game set four games to two. Cristopher Sanchez improved to 4-0 on the season, tossing seven strong innings of one-run ball. The game remained scoreless until the fourth when Pete Crow-Armstrong‘s RBI double broke the deadlock. Gleyber Torres tied the game for Gainsville with a solo homer in the sixth, but the Bottle Rockets answered immediately. Austin Wells launched a solo shot in the seventh to put Tijuana back on top, and Corbin Carroll followed with a two-run blast later in the inning to put the game out of reach.

Tijuana’s offense was relentless, led by Junior Caminero, who collected multiple hits and drove in key runs throughout the series. The power display was a team effort, with Isaac Paredes homering in four consecutive games, while Ian Happ, Austin Wells, and Corbin Carroll also went deep. On the mound, Cristopher Sanchez remained unbeaten, and Luis Gil and Jake Latz both delivered shutout performances.

Gainsville’s highlights were few but noteworthy. Seiya Suzuki provided the big blow in their first win, and Zac Gallen finally earned his first victory of the season in a masterful pitching performance. Tyler Mahle also pitched well in a win, but the team struggled to generate consistent offense against Tijuana’s staff.
