Bethesda  Bandicoots @ Prairie  Falcons

Preview: Only 2 reasons to watch these games at all….ok Maybe 3…if You are a Bethesda fan – they need this series to push for the division title against TCP…the main 2 reasons though are 1) Jake Burger facing his old team and looking to get revenge on them trading him earlier this season and the STANTON watch…he currently sits at 399 career ding dongs….
Game #1: Burger made his presence felt with two long balls while Stanton was 6 inches shy of 400 when he doubled off the top of the wall…Brett Baty cleared the fence for the Birds but Burger did all the damage…PET 5 – PRA 3
Game #2: Langeliers with a 2 run jack in the 2nd and then the bats went cold …meanwhile the bats barely warmed up for Prairie until the bottom of the 7th when Tristan Casas hit a pinch hit singe to drive in Schanuel and it is 2-1 heading into the 8th..Bottom of the 8th with Tanner Scott on the hill facing Giancarlo….LONG Drive – DEEP Left Field…..GONE!!! Number 400!!! he ties it up – the crowd of 17 fans went crazy… Stanton officially hits the record books and now every after this is gravy…he needs 4 more to pass 3 names on the all time list but it wont happen in this game …Burger leads off the 13th inning with another homer and Langiliers hits his 2nd 2 run jack of the day…BET 5 – PRA 2
Game #3: Brett Baty got the lone Falcon run on a solo homer but Mitch Keller shut down the Falcons for his 13th win and Castellanos went yard…BET 7 – PRA 1
Game #4: Falcons pen gets 4 shutout innings….but who the hell cares they shut the door for the final 12 outs when our offense was held to 3 hits and the Bandicoots scored 16 times on 17 hits 4 homers another one by Burger…the 1 and 9 spots had 4 ribbies a piece…BET 16 – PRA 0
Game #5: Jake Meyers with a great day 2-4 with 2 homers and 4 ribbies…Falcons get dingers from Stanton (401) and Baez but just not enough…BET 5 – PRA 3
Game #6: Falcons strike first with a red solo cup by Benintendi and then it was all Bethesda – Meyers with a 3 run jack, Burger with yet another one…16 more hits….BET 7 – PRA 1
Summary: Bethesda puts the heat on Triple Threat taking the series 6-0 vs a team with very little punch in the bowl…Stanton kept up his end of the offense with Homers 400 and 401 and as mentioned Burger made good on jousting with his old team – hitting 5 long balls in 6 games… BET gets LBD next week while Falcons fly into Triple Creek trying to fend off yet another long losing streak…Pitching for the Falcons is down to just a few feathers so these last 32 games will cause a lot of deboning…
