His All-Star legacy is buoyed by strong performances across his appearances, including a career All-Star AVG of .357, culminating in the 2010 All-Star Game Most Valuable Player award.
His value was undeniable in October, proving himself to be an elite Post-Season performer. Across the Wild Card Round, Division Series, League Championships, and World Series, Martinez was a clutch hitter. His overall Post-Season OPS was impressive, starting with the Wild Card Round with a 1.033 OPS in 3 games. His postseason performances remained stellar in the Division Series (19 games, .343 AVG, 5 HR, 1.037 OPS) and the League Championship Series (11 games, .389 AVG, .964 OPS). In two World Series appearances (.296 AVG, .852 OPS, 1 HR), Martinez cemented his status as a postseason terror.
