ESPN NEWS (Bristol) – Chicago Mobsters starting right fielder is off to a hot start in the Mid-West Baseball League.  Playing in Columbus, and taking on the Explorers, one of the predicted winners for the MWBL Wild Card finalists Sammy Sosa went yard. Not just once or twice, but five times in five games. In game one Sammy blasted a 400 Foot home run and followed that up in game two with two more monstrous blasts. Both Home runs in game two were over 500 feet. Game three was somewhat of a let down, even for the Columbus crowd, who had gathered early in the day to watch Sammy take batting practice.  Sammy failed to hit a home run in game three. But he didn’t cool off for long, as the next two days Sammy belted one out each day. Sammy was quoted as saying “It gonna be a good year for me, and for beisbol”.
