DAVID BELL HAS SEVEN RBI KNIGHT

ESPN NEWS (Bristol) – Los Angeles Riots starting second baseman David Bell had a game to remember on  Monday April 19, 1999.  Bell went 3 for 5 in the game including a grand slam and two doubles.  Bell was quoted as saying “I was seeing the ball real well, and it was jumping off my bat today.  Hopefully I will have more games like this in the not so distant future”.    Bell knocked in seven runs for the Riots, and looked good in all his at-bats for the day. The Riots won the game 12 to 5, and the win went to Riots starter Jason Schmidt
