| SERIES PREVIEW – Fremont and Long Beach, both making their MWBL World Series debut, had similar paths to the Fall Classic. Fremont lost one game in each of the Wild Card and Division Series rounds, before taking a closely-fought series 4-2 from Chicago. IN the regular season, Fremont dominated the AL East (and the whole league), cruising to a 121-41 record. Long Beach won 109 games to come in second in the NL West, six games behind eventual NLCS opponent Sacramento. |

| SERIES PREVIEW – One round away from the World Series! Chicago is looking for their sixth trip to the World Series, while it would be Fremont’s first. Fremont won the season series 7-5. The Cannons finished atop the AL with a 121-41 record, while the Mobsters were 4th overall at 93-69 while winning the Central.
Fremont brings the top offense to bear, but Chicago is no slouch at fourth in the AL. Fremont also tops the AL in pitching, with Chicago finishing 3rd. Fremont looks to have the better bullpen, as Chicago’s pitchers can get wild at times. Fremont holds the edge in fielding percentage at .982 compared to .979 for Chicago. |

| SERIES PREVIEW – Both teams are looking to advance to the LCS for the second time in franchise history. Tops in MWBL Fremont struggled against the 3rd best AL team Southbend during the season, losing 8 of 12 against the Lynx. Fremont brings the top offense to bear, but Southbend is no slouch at third on the AL, and recently added superstar Juan Soto atop the lineup. Fremont also tops the AL in pitching, with Southbend finishing 5th; however, a short series comes down to having the best pitchers, not the most good pitchers. Fremont has the edge in starters on the strength the #2s on both staffs; otherwise, #1 and #3 are pretty similar. In the bullpen, Southbend can throw out one of the best relievers this season in Drew Steckenrider, who converted 52 of 53 save chances. Fremont has better bullpen depth, however, if a lot of innings are required. Fremont holds the edge in fielding percentage at .982 compared to .979 for Southbend. |
