| SERIES PREVIEW – One round away from the World Series! Chicago is looking for their sixth trip to the World Series, while it would be Fremont’s first. Fremont won the season series 7-5. The Cannons finished atop the AL with a 121-41 record, while the Mobsters were 4th overall at 93-69 while winning the Central.
Fremont brings the top offense to bear, but Chicago is no slouch at fourth in the AL. Fremont also tops the AL in pitching, with Chicago finishing 3rd.
