| Game #3: | Junk (unfortunate baseball name) tosses 7 full for Crime and this time Detroit’s bats found enough holes for their first W of the series. Machado 3-3 and Witt 2-4 powered the offense.

| Game #4: | After a day off Triple Creek gets an up close look at Skenes; it was educational. 10 K’s and no runs over 7 innings but left the pen with a slim 1 run lead. And the Crime pen could not hold it, giving up 3 runs in the 8th. Detroit battled back with 2 in the top of the 9th to tie it but gave it up in the 10th.

| Game #5: | Well, not any easier today with Wheeler on the bump. Lorenzen was up to the challenge though as he locked down the first 4 innings matching Wheeler’s doughnuts. It unraveled badly in the 5th as Detroit plated 5 and that would be all they needed. Machado with a big 3-run bomb.

| Summary: | In an incredibly tight series Gainesville takes 4 of 5. While a letdown for Alamo it’s not like these were blowouts. It took 3 walk off wins for the Swamp Things to take the series. Gainesville moves to 9-8 and Alamo drops to 5-12. Next week Alamo will host Triple Creek as Gainesville packs their bags for Titusville. |

Tempe is frustrated this is exactly what they didnt want to see happen…they didnt pay enough to land the big fellow in the offseason and he makes them pay early…George springer though jacks one of his own in the 6th and it stays that way until bottom of the 9th and Kanley Janson come sin with 1 out – Dillon Dingler greets him with a solid single to RF – Robert another possible trade acquisition lost by the stingy pockets of Tempe management pinch runs and steals second…then it is Brett Baty…DING DONG – WALK OFF!!!! FALCONS WIN!!! FALCONS WIN!!! |

| Game #5: | Battle of second basemen…both of these guys were ejected for who knows what – first it was Adam Fraizer who I think tried to speak in japanese and messed it up but then Hyesong Kim tried English and that didnt work and both 2B’s were ejected…Falcons get a solo red cup from Baty followed by a 2 run jack by JUng Ho Lee…to lead 3-0 but Abreau tied it 3-3 in top of 7th with a baltimore special…In the bottom of the 7th it was Dillon Dingler with a solo shot – and Andrew Saalfrank came in the 9th and picked up his 3rd save and the Falcons win….Again PRA 4- TEM 3…I am sure I will be fielding some calls for this ace arm who has no 2027 value… |

| Summary: | 2-4 this week vs Tempe – I will take it – we were close to splitting the series and if only the ghost win wasn’t in effect we might feel decent about a potential 1st round upset – we definitely saw them shaking a bit – Giancarlo has them scared and if we do have the lead we call in Saalfrank…No injuries this week – although I think Casas got sunburned from warming up shirtless but never playing and he may even have an infection in his toe – he just cant tell with all that toe nail polis on it…what a whack job!!!! Giancarlo will stay on the roster this week for another home series vs interleague Motor City Music Mythical Miniature Menstrating Men or whatever MCM stands for..I am not sure…Tempe has to stay on the road and travel to Bethesda for another long series… |
