Campbell, the Red Sox’ fourth-round pick in 2023, has become a standout prospect with a meteoric rise in 2024.
After an offseason focused on adding strength and altering his swing path, Campbell transformed into a dynamic player.
His performance earned him Minor League Player of the Year honors from multiple outlets.

Campbell’s impressive 2024 season saw him ascend through three levels of the minor leagues, from High-A to Triple-A.
He maintained a .330/.439/.558 slash line with 20 home runs and 24 stolen bases.

Offensive Profile: Campbell has an advanced approach at the plate with an above-average hit tool, demonstrated by high contact rates and low chase rates. He also combines this with the ability to hit for average. 
Power: Campbell has made significant strides in power, adding muscle and altering his swing to drive the ball in the air, resulting in plus raw power with high exit velocities.  He is now at least an average power bat.

Defensive: While considered a bit raw, Campbell is an acceptable second baseman with the speed and arm to play outfield positions, also showing versatility by playing center field and shortstop.

Overall Summary: Campbell is an incredible athlete with a rare combination of hit, approach, power, and speed, making him a well-rounded prospect. His performance in 2024 was extraordinary, leading to recognition as Minor League Player of the Year.
