2024 Major League Baseball Draft: Mid-West Winter League Stars Shine Bright

In an exciting turn of events, several players who were selected in the 2024 Mid-West Baseball League (MWBL) Draft this past February have now been picked in the 2024 Major League Baseball (MLB) Draft. The biggest winner in this scenario is undoubtedly the Bethesda Bandicoots, who had the top two players taken in the MLB Draft this past Sunday evening: Travis Bazzana and Chase Burns.
The question on everyone’s mind now is whether & if any of these talented players will make it to the major leagues (MLB) before the end of the 2026 MLB season. Notably, Travis Bazzana and Jac Caglianone have been given the Bonus Baby tag, granting them an extra year of eligibility through 2027.
