The American League continued to build on their lead with Mike Zunino smashing a two-run shot in the 4th, followed by an RBI single from Yordan Alvarez, making it a daunting 7-0 advantage.

National League Fights Back
Not to be outdone, the National League began chipping away at the deficit in the bottom of the 4th with Jose Ramirez launching a three-run homer, closing the gap to 7-3. Luis Urias added a two-run blast in the 7th, bringing the score to 7-5 and keeping hopes alive.

Closing Moments
Despite the late surge, the American League’s bullpen managed to quell the National League’s comeback attempts. Carlos Rodon closed out the game, inducing a game-ending double play from Josh Bell, sealing the victory for the American League.
