6 VIR pitchers hold CIN to 4 hits, one of them a T.Edman solo shot. CIN picked up another run on a C.Biggio error. VIR got 3 RBI from A.Rizzo’s 2-3 day and 2 RBI from J.B.Jr, who was 3-4 including a longball. R,Devers also chipped in a solo blast. |

B.Goodwin’s 2-run oppo taco gave CIN a 1st inning lead,…and their only runs of the game. VIR came right back with runs in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd on R.Devers RBI single, W.Merrifield’s solo shot, and E.Jimenez’ 12th dinger of the year. 4 runs in the 5th sealed the win for VIR. C.Frazier cleared the wall for 2 runs, an error produced another and J.Segura drove in the 4th run of the inning. A.Plutko cruised thru 7 innings striking out 9 to win his 5th of the year. |

Game 2 saw the bats come to life and Anderson pitch well, until late, when with the bases juiced a Nor’easter grand salami tightened things up. Patriots held on to tale both games. |

| Game #2: | Another shutout for Long Beach as Barria gave up just 4 hits in the Dirt Bags 7-0 win. Turner and Marmolejos went back-to-back in the 2nd to open the scoring. Turner added another long ball and ended up with 3 RBI. |

| Game #1: | Lumber Company opens up a 7-3 lead on Valdosta after 7, but the Snapper offense pounces on a weak Pittsburgh bullpen to rally for 5 in the 8th to take game 1. Sano has a pair of homeruns and scores 3 in the victory. Aaron Judge’s 2 home run, 4 RBI effort for Pittsburgh is wasted.

| Game #2: | Justin Verlander takes the hill for Pittsburgh … he’s only going to get 2 starts this season … and it doesn’t go well for the home team. Verlander did pitch well. He goes 5 scoreless innings, only allowing one hit. He does walk 4, but strikes out 11. In an attempt to get another start out of Verlander, he’s pulled after 5 innings, with a 3-0 lead and Valdosta preys once again on a subpar bullpen, rallying for a 6-4 extra inning win. Lots of homeruns and strikeouts in this one. Valdosta gets round trippers from Acuna, Sano, Riley, and Pujols … Pujols’s is the big one, a 2 run shot in the 10th for the win. Polanco and Judge homer for Pittsburgh.
There were 34 strikeouts in this game. While the Lumber company pitchers struggled to get outs, when the did they were often in the form of strikeouts, as they strike out 24 Snapper batters. Funny thing … Pujols struck out 4 times before hitting the game winner. VAL 6-7-1 |

| Game #1: | Not much to say deGrom is the man, going 7ip, giving up only 3 hits and 1 run. MCM C.Oswalt bullpen almost blows it, but J.Wilson comes on for the last 1.1 to nail it down for the Muscle. For the MCM offense Arcia opens the game with a solo-HR in the T1 and MCM adds 2 more in the T4 on a Walker rbi-2b and an unearned run on a Mayfield error. Canha rbi-3b in the B6 as the lone blemish on deGrom’s outing. MCM extended their lead to 5-1 by the T8. K.Tucker’s 2-run 3b in the B8 made it close but the Lynx couldn’t pull it out. deGrom with the win for MCM J,Wilson with the save, Yamamoto with the loss for SBL.MCM 5, SBL 3 |
| Game #2: | SBL get out to a 5-1 lead after 5 only to see the MCM tie it in the T8 with the big hit being a 2-run HR by Benboom. But the SBL finally break the losing streak at 9 games when in the B10 Meadows 2bs and Altuve follows with an game winning rbi-2b.
