2020 MWBL AWARDS

Chicago Mobsters Alex Bregman takes home the Most Valuable Player in the American League.   Cody Bellinger of the Triple Creek Patriots took home the National League’s Most Valuable Player.

In an unprecedented & very close (1 Point) Justin Verlander (who played the last month of the season in the National League) but pitched for the Motor City Muscle for 5 months of the season in the A.L. wins the American League, Cy Young.  Zack Greinke wins his second Cy Young Award & his first in the National League for the Sacramento Capitals.

Virginia Sluggers Bryan Reynolds won the American League Rookie of the Year in a 2 Point win & Pete Alonso of the Selkirk Steelers won the National League Rookie of the Year.

Casey Sadler of the Dallas Cougars won the American League Rolaids Reliever of the Year & Columbus Explorers Liam Hendriks won the National League Rolaids Reliever of the Year Award.

One Manager of the year came from a World Series Franchise as Steve Cutler of the Hollywood Werewolves took home the Manager of the Year Award in the American League.  John Niespodzianski beats out Bill Schindel in a 5 Point win guiding his Pittsburgh Lumber Company to 112 Regular Season victories to win Manager of the Year in the National League.
