Series Preview:	Two poor teams going at it. Selkirk has the second worst record in the league but a big series could make them the thirs worst. Valdosta is hoping to avoid 100 losses. The rest is just playing for stats and reaching the league minimums
Game #1:	Carter hit two homers and Garcia onebut it wasn’t enough as Hood was a monster for Selkirk with 2 homers, a triple a single and 8 rbis.Cuthbert added another homer. Neris picked up his 27th save of the year. Selkirk 10 Valdosta 8
Game #2:	Whalen for Valdosta was amazing striking out 10 in this 3 hitter.Carter drove in to of Valdosta 3 runs. Val 3 Sel 0

Game #4:	Reynolds was great 2 homers and 5 rbis in the Valdosta Blowout.Gee got the win with just 3 hits in 7 innings. Val 11 Sel 1
Game #5:	Bourjos homers as Selkirk wins 4-3. Neris gets his 3rd save of the series #29.
Game #6:	Final game of the year Selkirk easily wins it as Adams Bourjos and Upton homer with Neris getting his 30th save of the year. Selkirk 7 Valdosta 0
Series Summary:	So a shocking results as Selkirk will likely end up in 3rd place in the draft as the 4 wins moves them up in the standings. Pitcher of the week:R. Whalen 3 hits 1 walk 10 k’s in 9 innings for Valdosta. Neris finished strong 5.1 no hit innings with 4 saves for selkirk to reach 30 on the year for a team that only won 49 games. Sacramento Capitals @ Grand Haven Gators
Game #1:	Capitals jump out to an 8-0 lead before the Gators even have a hit against Chris Sale. Sacramento rolls 10-2. Sale ends the regular season with twenty-five wins and a 2.82 ERA! Hunter Pence slugs two HRs for the Capitals. 10-2 Capitals
Game #2:	A solo HR by Gator CJ Cron wins a close one. Scherzer finishes one shot of Sale’s 25 wins for the year, but with a better 2.29 ERA. 2-1 Gators
Game #3:	Gators win another barn-burner with a three run 9th inning. Twenty six hits between the two teams in this one, but Lindor goes 0-5 for the Capitals dropping his average to .362 on the year. 11-10 Gators
Game #4:	Just 11 hits between both teams this time, but it is Sacramento who squeaks out the 3-1 win. 3-1 Capitals
Game #5:	Two HRs by Rupp spur the Capitals to an easy 10-2 win. Rupp goes 4-5 on the night. 10-2 Capitals
Game #6:	All of the Gator offense explodes in the 4th inning, as they score 5 runs in route to the 5-2 win. 5-2 Gators
Series Summary:	The Gators can hold their heads high with the series split, hopefully helping the NL West Champions tune up for a long playoff run. Sacramento finishes 117-45, but their path may have to go through the Tempe Templers would who put together one of the most epic seasons in history. (if not the). The Templers dominated the NL West with a 55-7 record. For the Capitals, besides the elite starting pitching from Sale, Scherzer and Danny Duffy (21-5 2.54) Mark Melancon amassed 55 saves and a .79 ERA! Fransisco Lindor finished the regular season with a .360 average, about 20th all-time. Altuve of the Southbend Lynx went into the series at .364 for the batting title goes down to the wire. The Grand Haven Gators have likely played their last game, as financing options to upgrade their stadium ‘the Swamp’ failed and the team looks likely to move. Cron, Galvis and Ozuna lead the Gators offensively, but the Gators look like they will continue to struggle for some time.

Bethesda Bandicoots @ Windy City Black Sox
Game #1:	Bethesda squeaks out the 5-4 win despite being out hit and making three errors.
Game #2:	Eduardo Rodriguez strikes out 12 Bandicoots over 6.1 innings and the Black Sox knock Jake Arrieta out early en route to a 7-2 win.
Game #3:	This one was all Bethesda as the Bandicoots pound out 16 hits, score 13 runs, while holding the Sox to just a single hit.
Game #4:	Back and forth game as Bethesda plates three in the top of the first off Severino, who then settles down. Sox get one in the bottom of the first and then take the lead in the 6th on a 3 run shot from Utley. They add another in the 7th to lead 5-3 but in the 8th Stephen Drew delivers a pinch hit 2 run homer to tie the game. It goes to the 10th before Brandon Belt hits the walk off for the Sox 6-5 win.
Game #5:	Rich Hill out duels Jeff Samardzija and Bethesda tacks on three late runs to win it 5-1.
Game #6:	Bethesda gets two in the first. Sox come back with single runs in the 4th and 8th. But Fernando Rodney gives up a pair in the 9th and the Sox leave the tying and go-ahead runs on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the 9th. Bandicoots win it 4-3.
Series Summary:	Bethesda wins 4 of 6 in a series where half the games were decided by one run. Black Sox finish their inaugural campaign 78-84 while the Bandicoots are headed to the playoffs.

Corktown Cycle @ Long Beach Dirt Bags
Series Summary:	Long Beach closes out the season by taking 4 of 6 from Corktown.

Yonge Street Stalkers @ Chicago Mobsters
Series Preview:	Chicago headed into the final weekend of the MWBL season having already clinched 1st place in the American League plays host to the Stalkers of Yonge Street who have clinched 4th place in the American League Central.
Game #1:	Joc Pederson has 2 RBI’s for the Stalkers. David Ortiz Homers & drives in 2 RBI’s for the Mobsters. Chicago pulls this one out late after trailing 3-1 in the 6th going on to win it by the score of 5-3. Final Score: Chicago 5 – Yonge Street 3 Win: Aaron Sanchez 17-4 (2.67) Loss: Hunter Strickland 2-1 (4.05) Save: Aroldis Chapman #45
Game #2:	Ivan Nova is the man’s name & throwing a 1-0 Shutout was this man’s game. Final Score: Yonge Street 1 – Chicago 0 Win: Ivan Nova 10-12 (3.22) Loss: Felix Hernandez 17-4 (3.20)

Game #4:	Aroldis Chapman can’t close the door on the Stalkers as they score 2 in the 9th to defeat the Mobsters. Kris Bryant is 3 for 5 with a Home Run & 5 RBI’s for the Stalkers. Final Score: Yonge Street 8 – Chicago 7 Win: Carlos Estevez 4-3 (5.64) Loss: Aroldis Chapman 1-2 (0.85)
Game #5:	Noah Syndergarrd goes 7 Innings allowing 3 Earned Runs, while Chicago’s offense chips away for 6 Runs. Andrelton Simmons has 2 hits in 4 trips with 2 RBI’s to lead the way for the Mobsters. Game #6:	Mike Zunino is 2 for 3 with 2 Home Runs & 3 RBI’s for the Stalkers. Nelson Cruz is 2 for 4 with a Home Run & 3 RBI’s for the Mobsters. Aaron Sanchez is tossed early from this one after hitting 3 Stalkers including Kris Bryant twice. Final Score: Chicago 8 – Yonge Street 3 Win: Julio Urias 6-1 (2.29) Loss: Michael Pineda 6-15 (5.60)
Series Summary:	Chicago takes the series 4 games to 2 & heads into the Playoffs. Stalkers look to the Draft & a very bright future.

Triple Creek Patriots @ Rosemere Renegades
Series Preview:	Both teams season was over before the start of this series with the locals being almost 50 games (!) behind the visitors
Game #1:	Seager collects 4 hits, 5 rbis in an easy 14-1 win.
Game #2:	Weaver puts on a show going the distance and collects his 5th win of the season thanks to a walk off HR by A Pagan.
Game #3:	Another close one. Seager 3 runs shot was the difference in a visitors 4-3 win.
Game #4:	Another close one but Rosemere can’t get a key hit. Seager collects a couple more hits and RBI. 4-1 TCP.
Game #5:	Rosemere outhits TCP but end up on the loosing side. 5-1 visitors. K Glover goes one inning to ensure he won’t be dropped at the end of the season.
Game #6:	Once again, RRG collects more hits BUT a 3 runs HR by PH Almora is the difference. 5-2 TCP.
Series Summary:	RRG just can’t hit so despite decent pitching for most part, TCP takes 5 out of 6.

Southbend Lynx @ Mesa Solar Sox
Series Preview:	Division mates end the season with 6 games in the desert.
Series Summary:	Mesa wins the 1st three games and then South Bend takes the last three for a season ending split

Manhattan Project @ Fremont Cannons
Series Preview:	Fremont is on the edge of a lottery pick, while Manhattan hopes to get the second Wild Card spot.
Game #1:	Juan Nicasio goes the distance for Fremont with 18 strikeouts, but Manhattan wins it with a run in the top of the ninth 3-2.
Game #2:	Manhattan wins with another 3-2 score, this time due to a Freddie Freeman homer in the eighth. Rick Porcello improves to 20-7.
Game #3:	Carlos Correa homers for the 20th time, and Carlos Rodon and Sean Doolittle combine to shut out Manhattan 5-0.
Game #4:	Carlos Correa‘s 2-run homer in the eighth leads Fremont to the 3-2 victory. Khris Davis hits his 42nd homer of the year.
Game #5:	Six pitchers combine to take Fremont to the 2-1 win, though Khris Davis and Kyle Barraclough are both lost to injury.
Game #6:	Manhattan gets to Jarred Cosart early, chasing him after 1.2 innings, to take the finale 8-4. Fremont used 9 pitchers to close out the season.
Series Summary:	The two teams split, leaving Fremont with a lottery pick and Manhattan still hopeful of a Wild Card spot, though likely disappointed with the outcome of the series.

Jersey Nor’easters @ Pittsburgh Lumber Company
Series Summary:	Pittsburgh limps out of the regular season, dropping 4 of 6 to Jersey.

Hollywood Werewolves @ Coconut Creek Crushers
Series Preview:	Hollywood tuning up for the playoffs.
Game #1:	Goldschmidt and Kershaw are too much in a 7-2 HOL win.
Game #2:	HOL racks up 15 hits in a 6-4 win.
Game #3:	17-0 rout for HOL.
Game #4:	CCC finally has a shot to win a game but can’t get the timely hit. HOL wins 5-4 in 16 innings.
Game #5:	12-1 HOL rout.
Game #6:	CCC took a 2-0 lead into the 7th but couldn’t hold it. HOL wins the season finale 4-2.
Series Summary:	HOL sweeps the series 6-0.

Motor City Muscle @ Virginia Sluggers
Series Preview:	Motor City, fighting for the AL East Division title, comes to Virginia with hopes of clinching. Virginia, out of any contention, looks to play the role of spoiler.
Game #1:	VIR 6-0 MC Muscle does not get out to a good start. The Sluggers’ Daniel Wright (10-13) throws out 9 innings of shut-out ball while allowing the Muscle only 6 scratch hits. George Springer (22) gives Wright a quick 2 run lead by crushing a 2-run long ball in the 1st. The Sluggers continue to add to their lead on Jackie Bradley‘s RBI triple and Jean Segura‘s 18th homer of the season. Motor City’s Mike Leake (3-11) suffered the loss.
Game #2:	VIR 8-2 A bad day for the Muscle as they not only lost the game, but lost 4 players to injuries. James Loney (14 days), Sal Perez (6 days), Joe Panik (5 days), and Jayson Werth (2 days) all fell to injuries. Adding to those problems, Virginia scored 5 runs in the 2nd as George Springer ripped a 3-run double followed by Anthony Rizzo‘s 2-run homer off starter Jeff Locke (0-4). Rizzo’s 2-4 day netted him 5 RBI for the game and gave Virginia another win. Luis Perdomo (13-12) got the win.
Game #3:	VIR 6-3 The bottom end of the Sluggers’ lineup garnered 4 hits and all the RBI’s as Virginia once again denied Motor City a win. Jackie Bradley‘s 1st inning double plated 3 RBI while Neil Walker had a 6th inning 2-run homer and Whit Merrifield connected on a solo shot in the 4th. Chris Tillman (10-9) bested Justin Verlander ( 17-13) for the win.
Game #4:	MCM 2-1 The Muscle finally break through in the win column. A nice pitchers duel sees Jose Quintana (18-6) get the win over Chris Archer (13-10) despite Archer’s 17 Strikeouts. Quintana went 6.1 with 3 hits and 4 K’s while Archer threw a CG 5 hitter with 17 K’s. Kole Calhoun provided the decisive blow with an RBI triple in the 1st for Motor City while Jackie Bradley had 3 of the 5 Virginia hits.
Game #5:	VIR 3-2 Anthony Rizzo‘s (27) 2-run blast in the 1st and George Springer‘s RBI double in the 3rd offset solo shots by Motor City’s Kole Calhoun (19) and Jayson Werth (15) as Trevor Williams (11-11) finished the season with a win and 11 K’s in 8 innings. Kyle Hendricks (12-5) K’d 11 in 8 as well but suffered the tough luck loss.
Game #6:	VIR 14-6 A total blow-out as Virginia batters torched 2 Motor City pitchers for 12 runs in the 2nd inning. Starter Mike Leake (3-12) lasted only 1.1 innings allowing 7 runs on 6 hits and Jeff Locke threw .1 innings giving up 6 runs on 6 hits. Jean Segura (19), George Springer (23), and Neil Walker (19) all homered and Jackie Bradley laced 2 triples and 4 RBI. 6 pitchers took turns getting some time in the last game of the year for the Sluggers and Jorge de la Rosa (6-15) left with the win.
Series Summary:	Virginia, rather than Motor City, plays like a Division contender and puts 5 losses on the Muscle to dampen their playoff hopes. Now Motor City waits on Manhattan to see if their season continues. Motor City – Kole Calhoun – 8-19 .421 5 RBI HR Virginia – Jackie Bradley jr – 12-22 .545 8 RBI

Columbus Explorers @ Tempe Tempers
Series Preview:	Columbus closes out the season in Tempe with both teams already set to move into the playoffs. Columbus is hoping to win the Wild Card Play in series and be back in Tempe in another week for the start of the divisional series. Tempe still has a shot of tying the MWBL single season wins record, but they’ll need a sweep to get to 134 wins.
Game #1:	Hisashi Iwakuma went the distance for the complete game, but it was mostly in the pursuit of usage by the end. Josh Tomlin went 6 solid innings giving up one earned run. Ji-Man Choi went deep and Andrew Romine went 3-4 and drove in three runs for the Explorers. Columbus 7-1
Game #2:	Matt Carpenter went deep twice, but they were only solo shots. Xander Bogaerts two run homer in the 5th put the game out of reach. Tempe 6-2
Game #3:	Johnny Cueto picked up his 21st win as Joey Votto and Xander Bogaerts each homered and drove in three. Tempe 9-0
Game #4:	Xander Boagaerts continued the hot hand with a couple doubles and a rbi. Yoenis Cespedes also added a solo home run. John Lester picked up his 25th win. Tempe 4-2
Game #5:	Cody Anderson was cruising with a 1-0 lead until Adrian Beltre hit a solo and Melky Cabrera also had an RBI single. Joey Votto and Xander Bogaerts later homered to put the game away. Tempe 4-1
Game #6:	Robinson Cano knocked his 40th home run of the season in the 1st and Hector Santiago dominated all of backups playing for Columbus. Tempe 2-0
Series Summary:	Tempe finished the season with the best offense and defense in the NL and AL and a 133-29 record. Even without the DH, the offense led both leagues in HR (275), TB (2680), AVG (.278), and OPS (.821). Columbus wasn’t able to defend their 2016 NL Central title this year, but they will be the #1 Wild Card seed with 101 wins this year.

Detroit Crime @ Tijuana Bottle Rockets
Series Preview:	Tijuana, a game back for the final Wildcard spot hosts Detroit(the top WC team). The home team knew the results of the Manhattan series before playing this series. With this knowledge, it was clear what needed to be done. 4 wins gets Tijuana a 1 game playoff vs Manhattan. 5 gets them a WC berth.
Game #1:	Late season pick up J. Guerra pitches around 5 walks to earn his 14th win, while the Tijuana offense took care of the rest. TIJ 10 DET 4
Game #2:	Both teams aces matchup in Kluber and Bumgarner, neither pitched great. J. Upton hits a Grand Slam in the bottom of the 5th to spark a 5 run rally leading to the Tijuana victory. TIJ 7 DET 5
Game #3:	J. Nelson is Cito’ed. 14 runs 12 earned. Easy Detroit victory. DET 18 TIJ 3
Game #4:	This game is knotted at 1 going to the bottom of the 9th when Z. Britton promptly comes in a loses it for Detroit. TIJ 2 DET 1
Game #5:	Tijuana offense does its job and S. Wright improves to 18-2. TIJ 10 DET 1 – 1 game playoff clinched at this point
Game #6:	Tijuana gets 3 runs in the 1st and never looks back. Kluber picks up win 18 and Tijuana picks up the last WC spot!! TIJ 8 DET 1
Series Summary:	Tijuana takes it 5-1 clinching a playoff birth in this high intensity series. Now these 2 teams get to face off in the opening round of 2017 WC round. In a huge surprise & upset the Bottle Rockets take 5 of 6 from the Crime. They win the 2nd American League Wild Card spot & now will travel to Detroit for a best of 3 game series vs. the Crime in Detroit.
