2013 AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES

The 2013 American League Championship Series pitted the Central Division Champion Chicago Mobsters (108-54) vs. the Hollywood Werewolves (117-45) Champions of the Western Division against each other.

Game #1 @ Hollywood – Chris Sale (21-7  2.73) vs. David Price (22-4  2.23)
Hollywood Jay Bruce had two Doubles, a Home Run, eight Total Bases & three RBI’s, but that was all the scoring for the Werewolves in game #1.  David Price went seven for Hollywood, but Chicago got single RBI’s from Buster Posey, Desmond Jennings and a two-run Home Run from Dexter Fowler.   Chris Sale went 5.1 innings for the Mobsters, and five relievers combined to hold the Werewolves scoreless the rest of the way.  Aroldis Chapman went the last 1.1 innings, striking-out three of the four batters he faced for the save.
