Clovis Wheat Kings @ Sacramento Capitals
Series Preview
Sacramento recharging batteries this season at Clovis who is fighting for a playoff spot and a possible division championship.
Series Summary
Sacramento stumbled out of the gate, losing the opener 11-0 but then roared back to take 4 of the next 5 sending Clovis reeling. Both
Clovis wins were lopsided shutouts; 11-0 and 10-0, but after that Wheat King offensive woes continued against even the weak Sacramento staff.Capitals were lead by Matt Dominguez’s 9 hits and even had hurler Eric Bedard chip in with a homer.

Elyria Indians @ Hollywood Werewolves
Series Summary
Elyria some how is able to go 5-1 against the Werewolves, losing only to Kershaw.

Camarillo Quest @ Tempe Tempers
Series Preview
The Quest visited Tempe after a tough battle last week against Clovis. The Tempers returned home having gone 33-3 over there last
six series.
Game #1:
The Quest jumped out a 2-0 lead in the first on a Bautista home run but things went downhill from there. Cuddyer tied it up in the
bottom of the inning with 2 run hr. Tulo hit solo HRs in the 2nd and 4th. Davis hit a 2 run hr in the 5th. Tempe added 8 more in the 7th
and 8th. Tempe 14-2
Game #2:
Tempe jumped out to 9-1 lead and never looked back. Cuddyer went 8 for 8 over the first two game of the series and hit another home run. Davis hit his 2nd and 3rd home runs of the series. Tempe 9-5.
Game #3: Burnett was in a zone recording 9 strikeouts for the first 9 outs.  Iwakuma was uncharacteristically shaky and Quest got to him for 7 hits and 4 runs in the first four innings. Burnett ran into a little trouble in the 5th when Tempe loaded the bases and scored three runs. However, he responded in the 6th by striking out the side to give him 14 SO in 18 Outs. He recorded another SO in the 7th and two more in the 8th. In the top of the ninth micro manager Riverboat Durham did the unthinkable and pinch hit for him with two outs in the 9th. Burnett had only given up 3 hits and had 17 SO. The Tempe faithful even booed as they wanted to see Burnett take a shot at 20 SO. In the bottom of the ninth, Quest killer Cuddyer singled and Granderson pinch ran and stole 2b. Then Quest killer #2 Davis came on and hit a walk-off bomb for his fourth homerun of the series. Tempe 5-4
Game #4:
Both starters were cruising until Tulo hit a solo shot in the 5th.  Cargo added RBIs in the 5th and 7th. Tempe 3-0
Game #5:
Quest killer Cuddyer only went 3-4 in this one, but two of the hits were home runs. Tempe pen held pitched another shutout. Tempe 6-0
Game #6:
Iwakuma dominated giving up one hit over six innings. Ruiz getting the rare start hit a solo home-run and scored a second run. Tempe
2-0
Series Summary
Tempe slugged 15 homeruns on the way to the sweep. Burnett was the pitcher of the series and I almost wish he’d been given the
opportunity to pitch the 9th in game 3..(almost). Chris Davis and Tulo had great stats, but the hitter of the series was Cuddyer. He
hit four home runs and also went an amazing 13 for 23.
