MWBL UPDATE — Woody Williams of the Pasadena Quest became second Mid-West Baseball League pitcher to throw a No-Hitter this season in the MWBL. Not only is he the second, but also the second pitcher to do so in three days. Yes thats right.  Three days after Tim Wakefield joined the exclusive No-Hitters Club, Woody Williams goes out and joins as well.   Williams allowed four base on balls and had twelve strikeouts in his No-Hit Quest.  Williams (8-11 5.01) was happy the way he pitched and said “that a little consistency out of him would mean a lot more to the team than one game”.   Williams also reached his season high in Strikeouts in the game as well.
