KERRY WOOD HEADS TO CHICAGO MOBSTERS

ESPN NEWS (Bristol)Kerry Wood didn’t last long on the West Coast.  Within five days of being shipped out west, Kerry Wood has found a permanent home in the windy city of Chicago.  Wood, was unhappy in his move to Northridge, and was very excited in his press conference in Chicago.  Wood was quoted as saying “I like the fact that I will be playing for a team with a future.  The way Northridge owner and general manager Jeff James trades players, I was lucky to last three days”.    Northridge GM, Jeff James was pleased when all the final parts of the deal were thrown together.  James was quoted as saying “We wanted to get younger, and acquire more players that would increase our chances of winning in the future.    Were not trying to rebuild for 3  years down the road were rebuilding for next year.
