Chicago loads the bases in the seventh but Alcantara induces an inning-ending double play.

Two two-out walks by Aroldis Chapman in the eighth allows Mike Yastrzemski to tie it at 3-3 with a double. Chicago gets a runner at 3rd with one out in the ninth but fails to score. Fremont hits two loud flyouts in the bottom of the ninth, so we go to extra innings. Fresh from stealing a homer, Lorenzo Cain walks and steals second in the 10th, and a Starling Marte double brings him home. Rodon would hold the Mobsters down the rest of the way to pick up the CG, as Fremont wins the finale 4-2.

L: Julio Urias (3-3)

HR: CHI- none; FRE- Shohei Ohtani (18), Kyle Higashioka (5)
