Series Summary: Long Beach sweeps Rosemere. It did come at some cost as five (5) players were injured in the process

Manhattan  Project @ Mesa  Solar Sox

Series Preview: Both teams looking to improve their standings by beating each others brains in. They largely succeeded.
Game #1: Manhattan crushes Andrew Heaney for 9 runs in 5 innings. Mesa gets close with a 5 spot in the 8th but falls 9-7.
Game #2: Mesa’s James Paxton puts the clamps on the Project, giving up only one run in 6 plus innings. The Solar Sox gets to Tanaka with 4 in the 6th. Gruchuk’s 2 run double is the key hit. Mesa wins 4-1. Paxton wins his 6th. Jeffress saves his 8th.
Game #3: Eugenio Suarez clubs a grand slam, Rowdy Tellez hits his first MWBL homer and despite issuing 7 walks, the Sox take this one 9-6.
Game #4: Manhattan goes all kinds of gangsta on the Solar Sox pitching staff, good for 26 hits and 18 runs. They hit 4 consecutive doubles among their 6 total. Weird thing, though. Batters 1-4 in the Project lineup drive in nary a run. 5-9 drive in all 18. Ramos scores 5 times. So does Holliday. Both had 5 hits. Mesa scores a touchdown, adds the extra point and still loses by 11.
Game #5: And then Clayton Richard shuts Manhattan out on a 5 hitter. Nomar Mazara accounts for all the scoring with 2 homers, driving in 4. Mesa 4-0.
Game #6: Manhattan crushes Heaney again, this time for 7 runs in 6 innings. EVERY batter in the Project lineup gets at least one hit. The top 4 hitters have their turn, by each of them driving in 2 in the 11-4 win.
Series Summary: A series split. No fun for the pitchers.

Yonge Street  Stalkers @ Fremont  Cannons

Series Preview: Wow, that Game 3! Wow, that Teoscar Hernandez
Game #1: Fremont manages to hold off Yonge St 8-6. Homer by Teoscar Hernandez.
Game #2: Yonge St pounds Kolby Allard early, wins 10-4. Homers by Kris Bryant, Joc Pederson, and Scooter Gennett for the winners. Bryant is HBP, out 12 days.
Game #3: This is the highest scoring game in Cannons history. Ivan Nova pounded hard first, then Robert Stephenson obliterated. Only two Cannons fail to homer in the game. Fremont wins 27-4 off of 12 home runs and 32 hits. Homers by Teoscar Hernandez (3), Khris Davis (2), Max Kepler (2), Manuel Margot (2), Yulieski Gurriel (1), Javier Baez (1), and James McCann (1). Stephenson allows 9 HR and 20 ER. Fremont’s 3 errors don’t come back to bite them. Shohei Ohtani moves to 3-1 with 5 scoreless innings.
Game #4: Yonge St wins 6-4. Gerrt Cole moves to 6-3. Teoscar Hernandez homers.
Game #5: Fremont wins 9-2. Daniel Norris strikes out 10. Teoscar Hernandez homers twice.
Game #6: Yonge St wins the finale 10-4. Robbie Erlin moves to 5-1. Teoscar Hernandez goes 0-4.
Series Summary: Series split 3-3. Teoscar Hernandez rocked the week, only starting five of six games but going 11 for 22, with a.500/.591/1.955 line and 7 home runs, scoring 10 runs and collecting 12 RBI. Player of the Week?

Series Summary: Teams go back and forth most of the series, with Pittsburgh ultimately taking 4 of 7.

Series Preview: First vs Last.
Game #1: All SBL in a 12-1 rout.
Game #2: Musgrove outduels Holland in a 3-1 CCC win.
Game #3: C. Smith and Blach both hurl 9 scoreless. Smith adds a scoreless 10th. Blach is removed and Osuna comes in for the 10th. CCC plates a run to win 1-0.
Game #4: Folty takes matters into his own hands to end he SBL losing streak. He throws a No-Hitter with 16 K’s in a 4-0 SBL win.
Game #5: SBL takes a 7-0 lead after 5 innings. CCC then remembers how to hit again. We chip away but come up just short as SBL wins 7-6.
Game #6: As in Game 1, Jackson gets huge offensive support as SBL cruises to a 10-2 win.
Game #7: Carbon copy of Game -2. Musgrove outduels Holland as CCC wins 3-1.
Series Summary: CCC gives SBL some trouble but SBL wins the series 4-3.

Series Summary: Virginia takes 5/7 at Southwest Detroit.

Bethesda  Bandicoots @ Selkirk  Steelers

Series Preview: Bethesda and Selkirk are under .400 so it should be a good series.
Game #1: Profar has a monster game for Selkirk a homer and 5 rbis. Bethhesda got two homers O’hearn and Chrinos. Norris held on for the 8-7 Selkirk win.,
Game #2: Rookie pitcher Keller makes his first start and it was a gem a 3 hit shutout for Selkirk.Profar homered as did Hoskins in the 4-0 Selkirk win.
Game #3: Sweet Revenge Schoop 2 homers, Chrinos and Oswalt wins his 3rd. Hoskins homers in the loss. 10-1 Bethesda.
Game #4: Rendon hit 2 homers for Bethesda but it wasn’t enough as Hoskins hits 2 sac fly and Spangenberg drives in 2 for the Selkirk 4-3 win. Matz goes nine int he win,
Game #5: Williams homers for Selkirk and Shield Freid and Norris hold on to the 3 to 2 Selkirk win,
Game #6: Baseball is a cruel game down 4 games to 1 the blow out Selkirk 21-1. Schoop homers and Owings drives in 5 with only 1 extra base hit a double. Diaz scores 5 runs.
Series Summary: Selkirk wins the series 4 games 2 despite being out scored 43 to 21!

Series Summary: Hollywood sweeps!

Motor City  Muscle @ Dallas  Cougars

Game #1: Dallas Keuchel outduels Justin Verlander although both had nearly identical lines striking out 12. The Cougars got a sac fly from Justin Smoak in the first and Keuchel did the rest pitching a CG shutout.
Dallas wins 1-0
Game #2: Motor City muscled out 17 hits and won easily 10 to 2.
Game #3: Gregory Polanco doubled home two in the 6th to give Dallas the win by a score of 4-2.
Game #4: Leake and Davis combined on a 5 hit shutout as Motor City evens the series winning 2-0.
Game #5: Mike Trout’s 2 run homer in the 7th proved to be the difference as the Muscle won 3-1.
Game #6: Justin Verlander was even better in this game allowing only a single hit. The Cougars never had a runner past second base. Two solo home runs provided all the offense Motor City needed.
Motor City wins 2-0
Game #7: Miguel Rojas hit two home runs and the Cougars had a 6 run 5th inning holding on to win the finale 10-7.
Series Summary: Motor City wins 4 on the road in Dallas.

Columbus  Explorers @ Valdosta  Snappers

Series Preview: Columbus visits Valdosta in an NL Central matchup.
Series Summary: The Explorers win 6 of 7 against a hit challenged Snappers squad. The lone Valdosta win was a 1-0, 22 inning affair which pretty much ruined the pitching staff for the remainder of the series.

Triple Creek  Patriots @ Tempe  Tempers

Series Preview: Triple Creek visits Tempe for six games.
Game #1: TEM 4-3 10th Walk-Off.
Game #2: TEM 4-3 9th Walk-Off.
Game #3: TPC 7-6 10th – TPC Rallied from 6-1 def – poor management by the home team.
Game #4: TEM 8-5.
Game #5: TEM 3-2 10th Walk-Off.
Game #6: TEM 6-2.
Series Summary: Tempe takes 5 of 6, but three of the wins were walk off winners. Tempe shouldn’t have lost game three, but Triple Creek should have also won one or two other games.
