The Crusaders got things started in the right direction with a three-run triple by Todd Frazier in the first that set up a 5-run inning.Angel Pagan would add to the damage with a three-run HR in the bottom of the 3rd, that capped off another 5-run inning, giving T.C. a 10-1 early lead after three innings.The early lead gave Yovani Gallardo enough comfort room to be in the zone again the Lynx. Derek Holland once again for the Lynx owned the Crusaders, pitching another complete game, this one a three-hit shutout.Holland’s bid for a no-hitter was broke up by an Angel Pagan single in the bottom of the 7th with no outs. Holland improves to 3-8, dropping his ERA some more to 4.60.Tyler Skaggs also pitches a complete game, allowing no earned runs, the two runs for the Lynx were on errors by the Crusaders. Skaggs also only allowed 6 hits, while striking out 9 (walking 3).Jed Lowrie went 2-for-4 for Lynx, while Yan Gomes had a double for the Crusaders, improving his batting average to .301 for the season.LYNX 2, CRUSADERS 0 |

Aoki suffered a high sprain as he tried to dodge it and will miss 4 games but Matsuzaka took it square to the face and needed stitches around his right eye and will miss 18.Lobaton and Bradley go deep for Roseville and Hosmer tallies 2 doubles and a three bagger. Masterson (6-5) vs. Westbrook (1-7)The home town crowd is sparse on a clear Monday and Roseville plays contest number Sixty-Six of the year. Westbrook is rocked early and often “scattering” 13 base runners and 9 runs over 3 and 2/3. Frasor took over with runners-a-plenty toting his own gas can. He was heard saying as he left the mound, after allowing 7 runs, “You called that a fire? Now this, THIS is a FIRE!”.
